Background Description
When your 180-day trial license of Microsoft Office Project Server 2007 expires, you must upgrade to a full license in order to preserve your data and server configurations.
Resolution
Follow these steps to upgrade your license type:
- From the Start menu, select Programs, Microsoft Office Server, and SharePoint 3.0 Central Administration
- In Central Administration, on the top link bar, click Operations
- On the Operations page, in the Upgrade and Migration section, click Convert license type
- On the Convert License Type page, in the Enter the Product Key box, type the new product key.
After you insert the new key the system displays a message that activation was successful. The server must be rebooted.
