Resolution for Project
Server 2002 and 2003
The Project Server administrator must complete the
following steps:
1. Launch Microsoft
Project Professional and log into Project Server with administrator permissions.
2. Click Tools -
Enterprise Options - Open Enterprise Global.
3. Click Tools -
Organizer.
4. Select the Fields
tab.
5. From the list on the
right, select the unwanted field or outline code and then click the Delete
button.
6. Click the Close
button.
7. Save and close the
Enterprise Global.
8. Exit Microsoft
Project and relaunch the software, and then log into Project Server again.
Resolution for Project
Server 2007
The Project Server administrator must complete the
following steps:
1. Log into Project Web
Access with administrator permissions.
2. Click Server Settings
- Enterprise Custom Field Definition.
3. Select the Field and
click the Delete Field button or select the Lookup Table and click the Delete
Lookup Table button.
4. Click the OK button when prompted.
