Resolution

The Project Server administrator must complete the following steps:

1.  Launch Microsoft Project Professional and log into Project Server with administrator permissions.

2.  Open a new blank project.

3.  Click View - Table - More Tables.

4.  Select the Entry table and click Copy.

5.  Name the new table "Enterprise Entry".

6.  Click OK and then click Close.

7.  Click View - More Views.

8.  Select the Gantt Chart view and click Copy.

9.  Name the new view "Enterprise Gantt Chart" and select the Enterprise Entry table for this view.

10.  Click OK and then click Close.

11.  Click Tools - Enterprise Options - Open Enterprise Global (do not close the blank project).

12.  Click Tools - Organizer.

13.  From the "Views available in" pick list in the lower left corner of the dialog, select the blank project in which you created the Table and View.

14.  Copy the Enterprise Gantt Chart from the list on the left to the list on the right (to the Enterprise Global file).

15.  Select the Tables tab.

16.  Copy the Enterprise Entry table from the list on the left to the list on the right.

17.  Click the Close button.

18.  Save and close the Enterprise Global file.

19.  Exit and relaunch Microsoft Project Professional and then log into Project Server again.
