Background Description
There are times when you need to set a single value for a single field in a task collection.
Resolution
Using foreground processing, select the entire column for the target field, (SelectTaskColumn), and then use the FillDown Method. You must set a value into the first column element fso that there is a value to fill down. Use this approach in conjunction with a filter to set or reset the data in a particular field for all tasks in a selected set. |
