To delete an enterprise project template stored in the
Project Server database, complete the following steps:
1. Log into PWA with
administrator permissions.
2. Click Admin - Clean
up Project Server database.
3. Select the Projects
and To-Do Lists option.
4. Select the "Delete
the SharePoint team Web site for the specified project" option.
5. Select the project
template you wish to delete in the data grid.
6. Click the Delete
button.
Warning: There is no undo process to reverse the
deletion of an enterprise project template. The only way to retrieve a deleted
enterprise project template is to restore your Project Server database from the
latest backup.
Note: To
perform a mass deletion of project templates, projects, or resources in Project
Server 2003 only, download and use the Project Server Cleaner tool, available at

Complete the following steps to delete an enterprise
project template from the Project Server database:
1. Log into to Project
Web Access with administrator permissions.
2. Click Server Settings - Delete
Enterprise Objects.
3. Select the Projects, Proposals, and
Activities option at the top of the page, if necessary.
4. Select the Delete projects from Draft
and Published databases option.
5. In the list of projects, select the
option checkbox to the left of each project template you want to delete.
6. Click the Delete button.
7. Click the OK button to confirm the
deletion.
8. Wait a few moments and then press the
F5 function key to refresh the page and confirm the project deletion process is
successful.
Warning: There is no undo process to reverse
the deletion of an enterprise project template. The only way to retrieve a
deleted project is to restore your Project Server database from the latest
backup. If you backed up the project using the built-in Schedule Backup or
Administrative Backup tools, you can also restore the project using the
Administrative Restore tool from the Archive database.
